Pawsitive Action Leeds CIC delivers dog training, education, and support services designed to meet the unique needs of disabled people, neurodivergent individuals, and LGBTQ+ communities. Our activities include:
- Accessible dog training and behaviour support, with a focus on ethical, force-free methods that prioritise canine welfare.
- Assistance dog training and guidance for disabled individuals seeking greater independence and confidence in daily life.
- Workshops, community events, and outreach to raise awareness around inclusive dog ownership, accessibility, and disability rights.
- Tailored support and assessments to help people and their dogs thrive together, especially those facing barriers to mainstream services.
By removing financial, physical, and social barriers, our work empowers individuals to build positive, lasting bonds with their dogs. This promotes wellbeing, reduces isolation, supports independent living, and fosters a more inclusive and compassionate local community.
