Assistance Dog Teams

Meet Our Assistance Dog Teams!

This page allows you to verify whether an assistance dog team is currently training with, or supported by, Pawsitive Action Leeds CIC (PAL CIC). Our clients are provided with an ID card featuring a QR code, enabling us to share up-to-date information about a team's current training status and our ongoing support.

The information displayed on this page is provided to help promote understanding and confidence. There is no legal requirement in the UK for an assistance dog to carry an ID card, be registered, or appear on this website. A team's rights under the Equality Act 2010 do not depend on whether they are listed here or carry PAL CIC identification.

To respect the privacy of our clients, the amount of information displayed is intentionally limited. Some handlers may choose not to have a public status page at all, or may choose to share only minimal information. The absence of a team from this website should not be taken to mean that a dog is not an assistance dog or is not receiving support.

PAL CIC is committed to ethical, welfare-focused assistance dog training. The welfare of both the handler and the dog is at the heart of everything we do. Where appropriate, a team's status may change if training is paused, a dog retires, or welfare or safety concerns mean that our support is temporarily or permanently withdrawn. This helps ensure that the information displayed remains accurate while reflecting our commitment to responsible assistance dog partnerships.

If you have scanned this page after seeing one of our ID cards, thank you for taking the time to learn more. Our aim is to encourage understanding of assistance dogs in the UK and to support disabled people in accessing their communities with confidence.

If you have any questions about our assistance dog programme or would like to learn more about assistance dogs, the Equality Act 2010, or the work of Pawsitive Action Leeds CIC, please have a look through our website or get in touch.
